Well, I have never had it freeze. But then again, I don’t use it. I play offline emulators. However the internet connection has nothing to do with it. Try the Sega and see if that freezes as well. Java is clinker-built, and doesn’t like to play well with others so if you are running say Azureus to download all your wonderful torrents, you might also have problems with it as that is very demanding of the Java resources. If still can’t get it to work just download NESTopia and type “nes rom” + game name, on google to find games you want to download.
