Wet Sanding
Wednesday, February 1st, 2006 | Uncategorized
Simple theory, I have dry skin… why should I put moisturizer on all the dead skin when I can get rid of the nasty dry skin quickly and THEN put moisturizer on.
To achieve this I decided the best way was to…
go into the garage…
find some sandpaper….
use it to remove dead skin….
Well, I just happened to have some 432 grit wet or dry sandpaper there. Not only that, but it was in good shape!
Gotta say, I have been doing this for 2 days now and it works like a charm. Ok so I still have SOME irritated skin, but there is less, and I don’t have old dead skin sitting there anymore, also my skin is now smoother than it has ever been. On the surfaces I really worked over, I think I could honestly say it is “silky smooth”.
At any rate this theory and follow-up plan of action came to fruition only because it worked to hide my Stigmata back a couple months ago.
Good times.

You should send that tip to Maxim. That sounds like a very ‘MANLY’ way to get soft skin the ladies love. =)
yep, yep… see I COULD send it to Maxim, but then lots of people would have my smartass knowledge instead of just the intelligent born smartass readers!

Wow… A page right outta the Bob Villa School of Skin Care… Who knew? I also heard that a good wood plane does the same work in half the time…
yeah, but that one also doubles as a razor… something most guys would not care to do.

Big baby, skin regenerates. And it would be new soft skin. The kind you wouldn’t need to sand smooth again for quite a while… Don’t do the job half-assed like most men, do it right and complete the first time!
no woman, listen to what I said. This would also make people have to shave their hair off!!!! Then all the guys who used this method would be assumed gay or metro! It completly defeats the purpose of being manly and sanding your skin!
