“They are out to get me”

So I get this call today from my father saying “can you call me back on a secure line?”… ah NO… i’m not the CIA. Well anyways I will skip the five minutes of bullshit he told me and go straight to the plot. Basically yesterday I was in Fort Atkinson, for a brief period of time. At which point I noticed my car leaking lots of oil and left, ya with me so far?
Not even a minute from where I was stopped I turned onto a long highway and got stuck behind a school bus. At one point the bus was pulling over to the side and I being in a hurry to get back to my mechanic went by him.
Well once I was already in the other lane to pass and next to the bus the lights came on and the stop sign popped out. Well it was to late, I couldn’t just drop back so I zipped in front of it and went home. Not really thinking much of it.
Neat thing though, the bus was being operated by an off duty police officer who took down what he could of my license plate. Then he found I was the closest match and went to my fathers house who is the only relative with my name in Fort Atkinson and began to scare the shit out of him. Telling him how serious this was and how I could of killed a child or something and how he was personally going to stick it to me. Then he told my father not to even call me so that I couldn’t make up some story…
What a crock of shit, what the officer meant was that he couldn’t prove that it was my car since he didn’t even write the plate number down correctly, mine just happened to be the closest. So I call and get a hold of somebody from the Jefferson County Police and they tell me they are charging me with some ticket.
The real kick in the ass is that it is $305, and the only reason I was even going that direction at that time was because my car was leaking oil and I had to go back to Madison. Otherwise I was going to be going to visit my friend in Milton, which was the opposite direction! Grr…. At least I would of liked it to be a cop in a car to pull me over, I can normally talk my way out of a ticket in just a minuite or two.
Cars and cops, isn’t that the same old story….. What a pain in the ass
