Fo’ shizzle … o’ no’ fo’ shizzle?

Friday, July 15th, 2005 | Uncategorized

1)
A modernized and extended version of the infamous Shakespearean Hamlet line, “To be … or not to be?”

“Fo’ shizzle … o’ no’ fo’ shizzle? Dat be the quizzle, my south-central British nizzle.”

2)
“fo shizzle ma nizzle” is a bastardization of “fo’ sheezy mah neezy” which is a bastardization of “for sure mah nigga” which is a bastdardization of “I concur with you whole heartedly my African american brother”

3)

Originated in medival England in the 17th century, this phrase has changed in meaning completely, from the orignal shorthand denotation of “Alas! An advasary has come upon us! To the catupults!” to the modern definition of “Please grease up my penis.”
Old: Bartholomew, the dastardly barbains are attacking! Foe Shizle mine nizle!

New: Bitch step up! Fo shizzle my nizzle!

4)

An urban slang rendering of a common phrase in real estate, “For Sale By Owner.”
Fo’ Shizzle My Nizzle:
3 bedroom, 2 bath cape cod in desirable neighborhood. Close to schools, parks, and shopping. Asking $149,900.

5)

It means that we gonna keep it crack-a-lackin.
Homie#1 “Yo, dogg, let’s score some wizzle and smoke us a jizzle.”
Homie#2 “Fo’ shizzle my nizzle.”
Homie#1 “Chuch.”

You Decide….

Okay, I’m confused. I read your posts when I can. And now I’m just confused by all the slang. you must have some time on your hands to be able to come up with that. Intresting though I must admit.

I just pulled the “multiple” definitions for that from urbandictionary.com . Seems that they can’t even decided what the official defintion was, but i found it interesting so i posted it….

think of it as a bonus post to my normal daily post ;)

okay now I hace a user name to go by, I was thinking the other day that a whole redone version of some famous play using urban slang would be very untersting (i would have to go as far to say it would be funny and fun to try and read), if anyone thought that old english was hard to read and understand then imagine how urban ebglish would be.
