Impending Departure

So time is going by really quickly. I have gotten rid of all my furniture and have what seems to be enormous piles of random stuff laying everywhere. Tomorrow I will try to get some of the piles of stuff put into smaller more compact stuff to see how my space estimation is going.

Lets see. My phone number might have to change. If I move it to Cingular or Verizon I could keep it exactly the same and move without any problems. However I don’t like Cingular’s plans, and I don’t like Verizon period. T-Mobil doesn’t have any Madison locations so I need to convince somebody to port in an out of area phone number. The porting rules say the numbers have to stay regional, but I have seen numbers from different area codes ported into US Cellular before, so I am looking for a nice adventurous T-Mobil rep to try to do it for me. If it changes, well so be it. It would simply be better for my business if I could keep it the same.

So that everybody knows, there is a going away party for me on Friday @ 8 in Milton. Everybody is invited, and it should be a good time. (turn left at stoplight on E. High St. It’s 941 about 6 houses up on right). There will be a fire and various liquids of course. At this point though I am going to recommend you bring your own chair as we have a few extra but not many.

I have so many projects to work on. The moving has kind of put everything else on hold, but I need to work on 2 customer websites, as well as my own (for which I have a total rewrite planned for within the next month).

Oh, the artwork is back to a full selection again. If you needed to use the links to set your system to random, you will now need to clear your cookies (since the paths to the artwork changed). If you didn’t need the “random link” then you are fine and haven’t even noticed the difference.

Anybody want a 17″ CRT monitor? Somebody was supposed to buy it from me the other day for $20, but decided not to pick it up. So now whoever wants it please call me ASAP and it’s yours for $5. I might actually take it to a computer store tomorrow along with that giant steal case I have and give it to the guy there, so make sure you call me if you want it.

So, other than that just come to the party on Friday and help see TheSmartAss off ; )
