I got it launched, finally after flat out ignoring the site since june, it’s launched, and I even made my today deadline.

It’s missing some links and sections right now, the old ones should be fairly easy to add. I deleted all the “questions” added to the ask-a-smartass section since the last time I answered. Also, I did not get the halloween makeover finished, will add different music, art, and one other yet to be mentioned item this week for sure.

Currently no RSS feed list for the blog, that will change, hopefully I can get to it before long, but today has been the first time I have had to work on this site for a LONG time so don’t hold your breath. Yes, I will add back the search engines (and more of them) etc…

Just wait and enjoy the simplicity of new design.

I never work on my site anymore. I mean it is totally not like me to create an entirely new design with some bugs in it and then not work out the bugs. I have pretty much just ignored this website ever since starting my job. Ask-a-Smartass has been ignored, the new theory for the page (ultimate ajax based smartass information portal) has been pretty much ignored and over 100 new pieces of artwork that I have had for months have not been resized to reasonable file sizes to add to the random artwork, and a daily blog entry? Forget it…

Beyond work, I will need to be studying for an A+ certification that I am required to get, and I will be moving in a week or so to a new area down here. My car needs has been having problems starting that are caused by either starter or security system. There is also some weird quick with the way I need to use the turn signals, of course down here most people don’t seem to believe in turn signals but I still find them of value. I just don’t have the time to fix it.

I kind of want to buy a new car, but there are some things I need to get past first and I really was hoping not to need one so that my next vehicle purchase could be a motorcycle…

I started playing with my PSP again. Honestly that was a really great purchase. The development scene for that is so massive that it was a bit overwhelming to ignore it for so long since when I came back to it, everything had changed. However now my psp can do everything from remote controling my tv/dvd/stereo with infrared, to playing nes/snes/genesis/neogeo/gameboy advance, to playing/streaming music & video, to browsing the web, to acting as a gps with google maps overlayed (when wifi is avaliable), and soon somebody will be making a tv tuner for it. If you have ever thought about buying one of these, it’s a great all purpose investment if you know how to get full use out of it.

Anyways, the weather is starting to get better and soon it will be ideal temperatures, which will be good when I go to south mountain (right by new house), or want to use the pool.

Just thought I would give proof that I am actually improving old sections for the new smartass
