You Laugh, and Laugh

You ever have an experience that’s so funny, yet you don’t know why it’s funny. It just is. So you laugh, and you laugh. It’s like you know like you have an experience that’s so funny, yet you don’t know why it’s funny. It just is. So you laugh, and you laugh. It’s like you know like you have an experience that’s so funny, yet you don’t know why it’s funny. It just is. So you laugh, and you laugh. Ok, so I got called to work before I could finish halloween-izin-da-site. HOWEVER. I did manage to get one part of it working. Click on the skeleton icon to see it. I was going to make that load on the page by default but I discovered older versions of firefox and ie might have problems with it. (You did see the message I had posted on the site about downloading firefox 2 and ie 7 right? ??).

Anywho, gotta go, will try to fix more links and add back features soon.

Oh, and I also have pictures of my house on the site. Don’t have time to link to them now, but you can browse them at http://www.thesmartass.info/img/mini/

Mythbusters Girl Goes FHM

Since I know that all smartasses (with televisions) watch mythbusters, and all guys who watch mythbusters think Kari Byron is hot. I figured it important to mention that she was just in FHM magazine. In fact it seemed relevant enough for me to post the pictures.

Strawberry Turd Nuggets

Monday, June 5th, 2006 | GP | 6 Comments

No, I didn’t come up with that name. Does it really sound like something I would say? No… But the man had a point, so no use in arguing.

WTF am I talking about you say? Thought that was obvious… Well, the other day Ken bought some Dried Strawberries. I have taken quite a liking to them and had to go buy more today.

Well, I am content to call them dried strawberries, but he was not. Seems that it isn’t what-so-ever a turn-off for him to eat them when he named them Turd Nuggets.

Basically this subject only comes up because I lack anything else interesting to talk about. I still don’t have a computer, and am not refusing to do any serious work on the new website design until I get my computer back together (someday… lets hope this week, but outlook is kind of shady looking), so the only other thing I could talk about is my either food or my roommate.

Food: I tried to get a legendary Fish Taco today, but failed. I got so far as to order them, pay for them AND wait for them, but was soon informed that they were out of fish and I would have to switch to Chicken. Damn it, now I still can not confirm the legend true or false.

Roommate: He goes against one of my pet peeves and that is that he can’t just sit and watch a movie. He has to be doing something else. Either talking to people online and ignoring all the wonderful visual content that makes a movie, a movie… or worse yet…. sleeping. I mean if you have never seen a bloody movie before, you should watch it, especially the stuff I recommend since it tends to force you to pay attention and think…

Other than that and a few other interesting personality quirks… I get along quite well with him since he frequently takes time out of his day to try to amuse me by dancing like a monkey and other such antics.

Making Use of Time

So, I have not had my own computer since Tuesday morning. It’s amazing all the little things that I have come to use it for that I did not even realize. One of the biggest seems to be just to avoid Paul. I mean he hasn’t even been THAT much of an ass this week either, but if he is here, the big-ass TV is his, and so is the laptop.

Now, I am not exactly loaded for money as of late, so there is not too much I can do outside of home. So I have started reading again. So I know, I can hear the sinkers from you now…. “well, he should be without his computer more often…”. Well that’s BS. I should not be without a computer again for a long time.

Well in my quest for something to do, low ‘n’ behold it warmed up! So the other day I started running again. Well that’s not true… I mean I intended to run, but it was more like me sauntering vaguely downward. Nevermore, it gets better with time.

So instead of another attempt at running today I figured it was Devil’s Lake day. So I pawned some goods so that I would have enough money for gas and a state park pass for another year, and I left. Of course nobody was there to sell the pass today so I didn’t have to pay anyways, but no matter….

Being that this was my first climb of the year, it seemed kind of like my first run of the year…. So I kicked it into gear to huff it up the mountain. Of course I can’t make take an easy path. NOOOOOOOO WAY…. So instead once I got to the cliffs, I found the most difficult path that I had never done and I went up that way. The way I choose didn’t have almost any footholds on the left side and it was a ways up. Taking the difficult paths is way more fun though because you can feel the near-death experience coursing through every vein in your body.

After I made it up that cliff I kind of back tracked a bit so that I could do another cliff. This one also seemed to have lots of wasps hovering around it. So that helped to pump even more adrenaline in me and I made it up that one quick.

Upon getting to the top, and being completely ass out of breath, I actually felt good having done it. I mean I knew that if a group of friends had gone with me, none of them would of attempted to go up the cliffs that I did and that made me proud. Of course by this time I had all sorts of muscle spasms in every place in my body that didn’t feel like jello. Which made the walk down really tough. Of course it didn’t help that I was wearing shoes that though good for climbing, are terrible for descending, since I kept sliding forward on all the smooth rocks.

After I got home the neighbor’s were out so I took my chair (and a 6 pack of Yokel… a beer that I should spite because it replaced my favorite beer Native, but since it tastes pretty good I am letting it slide for now…), and hung out with them for most of the night.

All in all, I have been ways to use my time. Fortunately for me I sent my computer parts back to newegg in a hurry and the important package has already arrived, AND has already been reshipped to me using the upgraded fedex shipping that I convinced the lady in the newegg call center to give me for being such a good customer…. So I will have a working computer again soon (of course the weekend will muck that up a bit as well).

I suppose I could kill off some more time by finding somebody to spend Easter with, but I don’t know if I will yet. I figure perhaps Paul will have something to do for it and there4 I will have the house to myself… Well only time will tell..

Still Nasty

Being sick is annoying, but then having to feel like this for days is really obnoxious. Today I decided I needed to eat some food, so I ate. However I can’t seem to digest my food now, so I question if that was the right decision.

I know, nobody wants to hear lousy news. So here’s instead last night’s dream’s. This time I seemed to be some sort of millitary leader. I am fairly sure I was in Munich. I think I was actually a floating head.

There was a lady that was nice enough to wipe out my mouth (I had cotton mouth) so that I could speak. Then I was talking to somebody who introduced me to some hot blonde woman. Who the only detail I could get about her is that she was some sort of religious chick.

Well it seems she wanted my painting. I am not quite sure what this painting was or why she would want it, but though I enjoyed flirting with her (as I am sure most floating heads would), I would not give it to her.

This dream was a lot more dream like than the last dream. The last dream was so clear was to what was going on. This one just didn’t make much sense.
