4 Hot Bitches!
Thursday, June 30th, 2005 | Uncategorized | 6 Comments
Ok so it’s just a TV show, but I thought it was pretty generous that a show with 3 hot bitches could it through 7 seasons. However now not only is the show Charmed coming back for an 8th season, but they are adding a 4th chick to their cast of regulars.
Kaley Cuoco, better known as bridget from 8 simple rules, will be a witch in training (hahaha) when the show returns for it’s next season.
To read more I yanked the article from TV.com (at least the bastards that destroyed TV Tome can publish something worth me reading, still pissed that TV Tome is gone it was the best informational tv website on the net)
Looks better in firefox?

I spent all day working on this website again. Aren’t you all lucky mofo’s? Now that I have less emphasis on the borders around text, the site actually looks slightly better in firefox than IE. Well except the radio of course, which still kicks serious ass in IE with the media player effects on.
Still trying to work out a new links system, so they may not work now and then as I am working on them. Anybody reading this should definatly check out the flash stuff section, I have nearly 50 things there. The plan for the design on that site is to absolutly fill the screen with flash, no nice sorting system or anything is planned, so don’t ask for one :)
I decided to add an rss feed of this blog to the main site, but realize there is a long delay before the posts show up on the feed, it is not instantly refreshed everytime I post.
I would appreciate some feedback/comments on what everybody things on the changes I made. Thanks.

Man, I am like a week behind on my blog posts. I go back 3 days all the time, but 6… well I will start at the present and do as much as I can remember.
I Took my sister to the airport today. She and my mother are meeting up in Las Vegas for a week. Seems like a long time to me since they are not exactly loaded, but I’m sure they will probably be having more fun than me this week.
I went over to Chris’ house after that for some free Brats…. mmmm brats, it was pretty much all Chris family, and me, but that was ok as I get along with them. After dinner everybody left except me and I went with Chris/Mindy to do some errand. Well on the way back we decided it was a good idea to make use of the Jeep and found a nice place to drive it off-road.
Now let me prerequisite this by saying I own a car that only has a few inches clearance between it and the ground. Hitting bumps in the road sucks, and I dare not drive over something as big as a curb for fear of scratching the entire underside of the car. So to be in a vehicle that can not only drive over the curb but drive down into a (in my opinion) huge ditch and drive back out without the car getting even a little fucked up, is something totally different for me.
Well the 3 of us all took turns driving. We found that these bumpy-ass fields went on for a long ways so we just kept driving, in hopes of coming out the other end on a city street in Sun Prarie.
The bumps we were going over were bouncing me around so much that I started laughing so hard that I could hardly keep my eyes open or even breath. Fortunatly that was when I was not driving. Well we came to a quick stop upon seeing a muddy stream directly in front of us. Which was to bad because we could see the buildings and streets of Sun Prarie a short ways past the stream. I am thinking we should find some big sturdy boards and make a little bridge over it, as kind of a fun alternative to driving down the construction filled highway.
At any rate I got to drive and I took it pretty fast, tried to whip around some corners etc.. There was this one spot with just a big circle and some dirt. Popped the Jeep into 2WD and I spun the vehicle in a big ass circle which was a lot of fun.
Now for everybody out there taking notes, THIS IS HOW YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO USE BIG ASS OFF-ROAD VEHICLES. I know to many mofo’s out there who drive a big ass vehicle that gets 9mpg and never actually use it for what it was intended for.
I guess that was the highlight of the day. I want to go to Devil’s Lake tomorrow (yes i do that a lot, so what) and go canoeing but it is supposed to have a 3 digit heat index tomorrow, so it’s doubtful.

5:15am
Got home, drank a bunch of water and went to bed.
8:something am
Phone rings, I answer it’s Chris. I told him I would help him move into his new house the other day, but I obviously didn’t pay attention to what time he wanted to move. I very slowly (am still sleeping) tell him that I can not wake up yet and need more time. He tells me not to worry about it (psychological translation: Fucker, if you can’t get here now don’t come at all, I will just be pissed at you for awhile and not tell you). I go to the bathroom, drink some more water and go back to sleep.
1pm
I am awake, and true to form now comprehend that I just blew off my friend for sleep, so I call him. No answer. Well he actually calls me back and says it’s cool if I came over then to help. Apparently his brother bailed on him as well and he had nobody to help him move. Thankfully being a guy it is easy to forgive somebody when in need.
Afternoonish
I went over and we proceeded to move all sorts of stuff. Including the mattress which for some reason wasn’t moving nicely and I started laughing and then had a VERY hard time getting it into the U-Haul truck. Oh well laughter is better than pain and frustration.
Evenin’
Decided to go to Jana’s pig roast. I haven’t seen or talked to her in a long ass time. I once thought about talking to her again but I decided my life was less stressful without her in it. There was just always so much drama, and I hated her stupid untrained pitbull. Still I can be social now and then, so I went. Took my sister with to keep me company figuring it would be pretty big like the previous year was, but there were only a few people there.
Well I will sound really shallow now but this is my g’damn journal I can say what I want. What I want to say is that Jana got fat. See I am not one to talk as I could stand to loose some weight myself, but the problem was not that Jana gained a bunch of weight. The problem was that she never bought new clothes, so she was bursting out of her shorts and tank top and it just looked atrocious. If you don’t look great naked, you need to pick better clothes to hide the fact, not stuff yourself into ones that don’t fit and bring attention to it.
My luck she will read this and never talk to me again, but brutal honesty has it’s place.
I had some of the pig meat, but I really didn’t like it. It was really slimy/fatty and had a weird taste to it, so that it’s always my rule to not feed the dogs table scraps, I gave this one pretty much my entire sandwich which it devoured in 1 second.
There was this one guy there that I didn’t know and I started talking to him. Seems he is pretty successful in advertising and sales. I kept talking to him until I managed to convince him that he needed my help to better run his business. If this guy does half as well as he claims then I will have no shortage of work. I am going to call him Monday and set something more concrete up. It will probably be contract work for awhile, but he will pay me 50% on it so I have no complaints.
I was good and avoided drinking today, I did enough yesterday and that just got me “late to work” today.
My bad, did I just steal your chair?

So I went to this “bonfire” tonight. I quoted that because the person calls it that, and although I enjoy sitting around a fire a lot, a firepit and a bonfire are 2 different things. Anyways the night went something like this:
Woke up > drank some nasty green stuff > updated psp apps > sister came over to help me setup some new hardcore water filter > cooked myself/sister experimental meal (which turned out quite well > watched movie: in good company > got haircut > pondered mysteries of human subconcious > drove to Chris new house > meet a couple of his neighbors > played testicle toss (yes, i swear that’s what it’s called I looked for a wikipedia entry or a website that defines it but could only find other people’s blogs that had played it) > washed car > drove to milton > sat in front of fire > drank beer > played poker > pissed everybody off playing poker > had more than 2/3 of all the poker chips > annoyed people more when i kept taking pictures everytime my chip stack got bigger > drank some water > went outside to stick chairs in car > stuck one of my chairs and apparantly one of somebody elses in my car (meaning i left my other chair there) > drove home > (insert forgetting about helping chris move tomorrow) > went to bed at 5:15 am
I was going to send a picture to show the stack of chips i had, but i did not get it at it’s peak, but i didn’t have room on the table for my chips, and had to change most of them in for black chips.
I assume it’s mark’s chair i ripped off. hopefully that is the case so that we can trade back one of these days.
DEATH, or not..

I got up and looked over at the evil computer that was turned on. It was not my computer since I turned mine off the other day to install new cooling device (grr) and have not been willing to put old device back on yet.
Anyways I worked on this repair job some more. This perticular computer I was doing in trade for having my wheels powder coated. Which is an annoying story because Paul made me pay him the $40 for the shop cost. However my original understanding had been that all of the money owed was owed to the lady who painted the wheels, so I was just going to fix her computer in complete trade.
However now I owed paul $40 and her another $40 so I worked my ass off on this computer and wrote up an invoice for it. I charged her for $3hours (which is $40/hour), I did not charge her for any of the research time, and I think the 3 hours of labor was an underestimate. Hoever in the end I deducted $40 that I owed on the wheels, and $20 for a bullshit discount I made up called “first time customer”. which left her with a bill of $60, since I had paid paul the shop cost I saw nothing wrong with this.
However Paul freaked out that he was not going to give the lady back the computer with an invoice on it and how it was bullshit that i would charge her at all since it was “a favor between two people”. He made such a big fucking deal over the computer and how I should not be charging her at all, but there is no way. That computer was FUCKED UP. I mean there were nearly 100,000 trojan’s/virus on it. It was covered in spyware etc… and I managed to get rid of all of them without erasing her computer, without destroying the multiple profiles that were on it etc…
If the lady has a problem with my price, then let her call me and tell me. It is not paul’s business anymore since he already got paid for his part. If she doesn’t pay, well I loose a customer, but I do not think that this is an unfair deal at all. $40 an hour is CHEAP for quality computer repair work, and I nocked $60 off the price etc… Well whatever.
I was supposed to go install a new power supply into somebody’s computer so I went over there. Sadly I could not get the power supply to even turn on. So I appologized for that and offered to get rid of my labor charge and order a new one. So I will have to do that sometime next week now.
I then left to put an ad in the local newspaper for a month. It says “Onsite computer repair, $40/hour call 843-3123). To publish that ad only cost me $36 for 4 weeks! That should recoupe the cost that I am pretty sure I will loose when Paul goes to the lady with her computer and pretty much convinces her to have a problem with me charging her (which he already said he was going to do, [ass] all he has to do is say if she has questions or concerns to call me).
From there I was going to go to the bank, but I took the exit on the interestate that went the opposite direction. Seeing this as divine intervention I decided to skip the bank and go straight for Devil’s Lake. [Shit it is hot out, perhaps I should reconsider? Nah, to late]
I choose to go to the opposite side of the lake and climb the rocks over there. I always try to choose the most difficult path, but on the way up this time I actually had a first.
The first time I have ever been scared that I may not be able to get up or down without hurting myself. It looked more doable before I jumped onto it. After a couple steps up I no longer had any footholds, I looked up and down but could not find a safe way to get to either.
Now I finally made it up that mofo by wedging my arm into a rock and using my other hand to pull as hard as I could until I was able to get my stomach on the rock up top. That is the closest I have ever come to achieving my life fitness goal of a Pullup (hey i have arms built for typing ok). I took a picture but it’s blury and does not express enough fear :)

I was happy to see that my newegg order showed up today. It contained a PSU for a customer, a super quiet 120mm fan for me, and a new quiet cpu heatsink/fan. So I immediately tore apart my computer and unscrewed the current cooling device I had on it. Good idea right? Wrong.
Well I already had a non-stock cooling device on my p4. No big deal, except that the device that was on there had required me to remove the plastic part that was attached to the motherboard that is supposed to hold the cpu cooling device secure. So I figured I would still have it laying in with my computer junk.
However I could not find it!!!!! This is not exactly a part that you can just buy either. The only way I know to get one is to get a p4 motherboard. So I called around to see if anybody had a dead p4 laying around etc… but nobody that I called did ;(
Now in the process of unscrewing this I made a big mess of my computer, I mean it was disassembled all over the place and I didn’t want to reassemble it just to put the old cooling device back on, so I just left it sit there in pieces and went on to another project.
My roommate brought over a computer that was messed up from the lady that works at his shop that painted my wheels. So I decided to turn that on and see how bad it was.
Well within 10 minutes I had MANUALLY without any programs deleted over 4000 virus from the windows directory, and that was just on a quick glance. Then the real killer. This computer had multiple profiles. Which to somebody who fixes computers is murder, because each one of those profiles has it’s own temp directories etc.. So when you run an actual virus/spyware program it has to scan through all of those files. Well that is unless you can manage to delete it all first, which on this computer was just as hard of a task since it only had 128 megs of ram ;(
That was pretty much an all day project, it should be mostly fixed now, just needs a little more cleanup. Wasn’t expecting to have to do actual research to figure out how to remove some of the programs, but they were in there deep. When I got sick of it I went running, hottubing etc.. Seemed a better way to end the day than to be fixing a computer to me.
Good Ol’ PSP-Hacker

The PSP has now become one of the best items I have purchased in a long time. Considering it was a really expensive impulse buy It has now paid off. The other day somebody made a firmware hack that allows american PSP owners to play all the homebrew software and emulators that people have released for the japanese PSP’s.
Sony being pissy doesn’t want people to play emulators and other homebrew software so they keep updating the firmware on the system to prevent it. However thanks to some clever hackers there is now a swap trick to be able to play all this stuff. The emulators are quite polished having been started from source code for the windows versions. My psp is now also a: Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Genesis, Sega Master System, Gameboy Color, PCEngine, NeoGeo Pocket.
Since I had to buy a big memory stick now I can also, convert any of my dvd’s or xvid files to play on the psp (and damn the screen on the psp looks good), I can play mp3’s, convert text to picture albums allowing me to read e-books on it. Somebody made a calculator, a calendar, a timer, and a lot of other really kick ass things for it as well.
The newest thing to come out is a firmware hack somebody made that allows you to use the swap trick to replace the backgrounds for the PSP. I took the time to make 2 art collections from the artwork on this website, and they can be downloaded from here.
Still I highly reccomend a PSP to anybody who is still considering buying one. It kicks ass.

So Katie’s mom calls me to fix her computer. Apparantly it has been extremely noisy. I went over there and decided that the fan on the power supply was about dead. I actually opened up the power supply to show that I could not remove the fan from it since the wires were solidered directly to the power supply board.
This being a nasty proprietary computer to remove the power supply I had to unscrew like 8 million screws and tear off lots of plastic parts to get at the hard drive that was fenced off and had a power plug in it.
Because of this it took me longer than 2 minuites and Mary (Katie’s mom) decided she needed to leave, and since Katie was conveniently there she just left us there. Well at this point I could not do anything more to the computer without getting a new power supply which was cheeper to order online.
So Katie suggested that we go down to State Street and hang out. Well she’s cute and all and I was not doing anything so I said yes. I guess it’s been a long time since I have had a girlfriend and I forgot how much they like to just browse around in stupid stores at clothes and other odd things that they aren’t planning to buy.
At one point we stopped to get ice cream, and while we were eating it we discovered that across the street there was some bag shop that had a HUGE backpack sitting outside. Well not one to miss an opportunity I convince Katie to try the backpack on. She is really short, and the bag was really big. I did manage to get a picture to illustrate this. Probably should have taken it a bit lower so that you could really see the full body comparison of bag to girl ratio, but take what you can get.

After a lot more standing around in stores Katie eventually decided she had tortured me enough for one day and we left.
Well since it is well known that I have a fairly extensive music library she convinced me to make her some comp cd’s. I didn’t mind this, as it was an excuse to impress another person with my nifty new cd burner that can burn images direcly into the top of cd’s.
Most of her music choices were good, I did manage to prevent her from putting Brittney Spears on, but could not prevent her from putting 3 Christina Aguilera songs on.
Here was the result:
(mostly) Katie’s Choice
01 [Black Eyed Peas] Let’s Get It Started (Spike Mix)
02 [Avril Lavigne] Complicated
03 [Pink] Just Like A Pill
04 [Black Eyed Peas] Get The Party Started
05 [Nine Inch Nails] Closer
06 [Cornershop] Brimful Of Asha
07 [Christina Aguilera] Can’t Hold Us Down
08 [Phantom Planet] California
09 [Richard Cheese] Baby Got Back (Sir Mix-a-Lot)
10 [Cake] Short Skirt, Long Jacket
11 [Christina Agulara] Beautiful
12 [Black Eyed Peas] Where Is The Love
13 [Stroke 9] Little Black Backpack
14 [Michelle Branch] Everywhere
15 [Evanescence] Bring Me To Life (Original)
16 [Christina Aguilera] Dirrty
17 [Eminem] Stan (Feat. Dido)
18 [The Killers] Somebody Told Me
19 [Eminem] Lose Yourself
99 [Vertical Horizon] Best I Ever Had
When all was said and done apparantly the second Eminem song and the vertical Horizon song didn’t actually fit on the disk, though I suppose if there weren’t 3 christina songs that wouldn’t be a problem!
I guess today was not so bad. Though I will say it is frustrating spending time with girls that you know in advance that nothing will happen. I mean the whole “being friends” with a girl thing is a very hard concept for a guy to handle. I would never want to date Katie again, but that doesn’t mean I can hang around with her without wanting to fool around. Oh well, another life lesson learned .
