Good:
My roomate leaves tomorrow for Flordia ; )

Apparantly today is Steve Urkel Day, well according to Taco Johns anyways. I am not really sure why this is good, but I found it interesting that Anybody would be willing to call a perfectly good day out of the year after Urkel….

Bad:
I have an unemployment appeal tomorrow at 8am ; (

Ugly:
I have an oil leak so I got my car to my mechanics by noon since he said he had pleanty of time to fix the problem. Hell it’s an easy to fix problem (oil pan gasket). When I got there he said he would fix it right away, but he didn’t, so I called my friend and we hung out until 4pm, I got dropped off and then, my mechanic had not even touched the car. I was tired so I went in their office and kinda sacked out for a couple hours. Well come 7pm he still had not even touched my car. Now I normally defend this guy, he does pretty good work and is Much cheeper than the other place I would go. This however I could not defend. So at 7 I just walked out, got in my car and drove off. I have the part I needed, I had it when I brought him the car, so I think I can just fix it myself.

Conclusion:
It wouldn’t have pissed me off that he didn’t have time, if he would of said he didn’t have time in the first place. Still, friend or not, if you are performing a professional service for them, you should treat them like a million bucks, because they have already decided to look past your faults to be your friend, but if you make them feel second rate you won’t get to take them for granted forever.

Mindless Slaughter

So I went and bought Dynasty Warriors 5 today. I figured they would probably add some cool new mode, or at least merge the ones that were on the other “expansion” games, alas they didn’t. In fact they seem to have removed the character creation, which had been improving with every single game. Maybe it’s a hidden mode or something after you play awhile, but one thing is for sure. I am annoyed. Now I have the ability to get any ps2 game I want virtually for free. But I choose to pay for this one!

Honestly all you really do in the game is go around hitting a button to kill large groups of guys. Sure there is some history of the Han Dynasty in there, but that’s not really the appeal. Actually I think the real reason I like it is because of the old school nintendo game Destiny of an Emperor (which you can play on my website if you like). Which has the same cast of characters and follows the same storyline.

In other news while I was out buying this videogame and then traveling around to rent out usage of my hard drive (yes, i charge 10 dollars a use, but it’s an external Terrabyte that is ¾ full), my friend Crystal called me and asked if I was ok… See apparantly a tornado was ravaging the town of DeForest while I was in Madison… Then later in the day a friend who was passing through DeForest msg’d me to say it was hailing there. So by this time I figure I will get back to town and there will be nothing left.

Well I get back to the town and everything is standing, I don’t see any problems anywhere, so I am assuming the tornado was just some paranoid bastard reporting a funnel cloud to the news and some tiny ass hail. So life goes on.

So today I went over to Zimbrick Honda, one of the managers there told me “we think this would be a great fit for you and are really looking forward to seeing you in action….. but we still don’t have a desk for you yet”. It’s annoying, both of the managers there have pretty much said the job is mine, but “not until we promote this one guy”. They want me to wait around for them, and honestly i probably will because they are one of the best car dealerships in town and i know with how well i sell that I would make enough to live comfortably. Still I wish they would just promote that guy or fire a different one ; )

Added webcomics links to my website today, i don’t really read them but i know a lot of people who do, so they will be a good edition to the page. Of course though I almost hate to admit it (in case fivecows reads this) but i linked to homestarrunner after laughing my ass off at the strong bad emails, though I was really annoyed that the entire website only loads in internet explorer and just shows up blank in firefox.

Also got instant Save & Load to work on the nintendo, the only reason why it didn’t before was seriously because i was linking locally to the save scripts and just putting the domain name in front of that fixed it… which was really annoying because the domain is automatically assumed on virtually everything… Oh well, it works, that’s all that matters.

Fucked Up Dreams

I can’t sleep, I had the bright idea to go to bed early, like 9:30 or something.. I normally don’t go to bed until 1am, but I was tired… I am awake so I know I am controlling my dreams, but I can’t describe it very well… I think I went to bed thinking about the new section I plan to make on my website, called ¿WTF?… But if you go to bed thinking about something to deeply you can’t sleep.

Somewhere along the line I did fall asleep, but it was very bad sleep I was dreaming something about BEING the artwork on my website. Now if you are a regular to my website you know that some of the artwork I have had over the years on this site is pretty fucked up… I am also considering bringing back the really Dark / Evil artwork when I put the customize section up again, so you can choose Normal Random, or else can choose from a couple different collections like Anime, and Dark Shit etc…

All the time I was dreaming of being all this messed up artwork I had a song looping in my head, go figure from the new ben folds album called Bastard… I actually really like this song, but my god when it loops in your head for 4+ hours while you are sleeping it’s not good. I uploaded this to my site again so people can try to reference this dream.

I think I was mostly focusing on the lyrics that said “why ya gotta act like you know when you don’t know”. Now sure, I am fairly confident that I do know a lot of shit, but I would like to think myself humble enough to know that if I don’t know something I can own up to it and instead of acting like I do, I try to learn whatever it is I don’t know. So It must be related the the dreams where I am somebody/something else. There is a dream interpreter on the forms page of my website, well it’s actually a dictionary from hyperdictionary.com. If you type llama or something it tells you what it means to be dreaming about a llama, but It doesn’t tell me what it means to be imagining you are non existent creatures from fucked up artwork.

This entire post is probably completely nonsensical, but if you don’t write shit down that happens when you can’t sleep, you will never be able to get past it.

Today: Wake Up, Add 15 pictures to my website, Take Shower, Kick Paul Out Of House!, Have a few drinks, Sit in the hottub for hours with a couple Beautiful Ladies, Pick up my friend Katie, Go to Friends Birthday party, Go to Movie, Drive around Enjoying the Wether, Talk my way out of a Speeding Ticket, Write In Blog….

I could definatly handle more days like this one.

I decided to look at my website statistics for this month and I noticed that on Thursday Mar. 24th, I was voted Cool Site of the Day at AskMen.com!!!!!! That website is a huge online magazine, it’s a site where you go to say, find out Heather Locklear’s Birthdate (sept 25, 1961, no really I swear!).

So that made me damn happy, so whoever submitted me for cool site of the day on there, I thank you and hope you continue to visit my little website.

Lousy Slow, Crappy Internet Connection

I am supposed to be on a 3meg cable connection… but I never get more than 50k/sec, which is NOT 3 megs, that’s only 256k grrr… I actually tried to post on this blog twice in the last week but it timed out trying to reach the page while downloading at only 40k/sec… Yes I suppose I could of stopped my downloads, but I was probably drunk and knew that I would forget to turn the downloads back on when I was done..

Anyways today I was going to clean… really… However I thought of a way to speed up my website and then kept working on my website for 4 hours, which crippled my day severely… Now I still have to do a bunch of errands… go to the bank, clean the house, buy some drugs, wash my car, etc…

I just linked this to my website… that’s probably a bad idea, but the way I figure you would have to really give a shit about somebody to consistently read their blog, so for now I don’t care.

In good news, I have the new Ben Folds album…. It’s FANTASTIC (of course). I uploaded a couple of the funny b-sides from it to my /downloads/ directory, One was an internet only release which was a cover of a Dr. Dre song… the other was off of his Super D ep. Definatly worth a listen.

Old Friends…

Today I did 2 things. I spent lots of time attempting to make a good cookie script for my website, which eventually annoyed me so i paid the good people of answers.google.com to do it for me in the end. and I went out to hang out with some old friends….

For the latter it ended up being just an excuse to go drinking, I am not much of a drinker, but I imagine I will sleep well tonight. It was hard to restrain myself from going in the hottub when I got home, but I just felt my super dry red skin and decided it would be best to avoid. I think my red itchy skin is an alergic reaction to something in the laundry detergent I use, so I bought new detergent… but it will be a couple weeks before I am able to tell if that is what it really was.

I suppose, I don’t have that much to say now, so it’s probably better I just wait till tomorrow when I have my bearings a bit better.

Cars

So I went to pimp myself out to a car dealer today. I went to Zimbrick, they are the most respected in the Madison area, and they have lots everywhere. I choose to talk to the people selling Honda’s because it is what I would most like to sell… I am confident that I convinced the Sales Manager there to hire me, however he did not have any openings and he wanted me to wait around until he promoted one of his other employees.

Instead I got him to advertise for me to the other Zimbrick lots right around where he is at, and hinted that If I worked there I would like to transfer back to Honda if that opening became avaliable. Either way I hope I get a job. Selling cars would be ideal for me, I would be good at it and it would make very good money.

In other car news today I had my timing belt and some other things replaced today… My mechanic spent 3-5 hours on it and I managed to convince him to only charge me 200 in labor, and I bought the parts for about 90 at cost from his dealer, honestly for under 300 bucks it was very cheap, but as he does that he decides that my lifters need to be adjusted, so I will have to go back for that on Monday. Cars sure cost a lot of money, especially when you like them… Before I owned the car I have now, I would of skipped fixing a lot of the stupid little things I am fixing on this car.

Also got my blood work back from Covance today, basically I am in perfect health with no funky diseases except for one thing: High Cholesteral… So on my sisters advice I bought some Garlic and Niacine pills and will try them for a bottle or so, then do another covance screaning to see if my cholesteral has dropped :) That is one advantage of that comapny, the screenings are free, so even if you don’t want to do the studies you can just lie and get the tests for free.. Going to the doctors office to get some of those blood tests are expensive.

Fat / Lazy Day

I woke up this morning and got an email from a friend at my old job saying that the awards for Janurary came out and apparantly I won one of them, which I find rather ironic since they fired me! ;)

I didn’t really accomplish anything… wait that’s not true, I harrased the people at chipdealer.com until they found me somebody who could fufill my backdated order… I did this so effectively that they shipped it tonight (which is good since i ordered in jan 10th grumble grumble).

Other than that though I sat around and watched a hong kong film action flick, a couple of uk television programs, and played a japanese videogame. Hmm, so much for American pride…

See I kept saying to myself that I need to get up and excersize, but everytime I would consider doing so I would come up with a better excuse for why not to, hence staying in my vegitative state for long periods of time. In fact I did the exact opposite, every time I thought about excersizing I went and ate some junk food…. wow, how’s that for stupidity for a guy who has a good grasp on psychology…

I really do excersize a lot more in the summer as I enjoy jogging… but in the transverse I despise being cold and sit around all day being wrapped up in blankets not doing anything physical. So hopefully it will warm up soon and I can loose this winter weight…
